Ibrahimia Media Center 10th anniversary celebration was held on Thursday 12 of November 2016 at the Big Cathedral in Abaseyea- Cairo with the presence of Rev. Ehab Helmy the second secretary of Synod of the Evangelical Nile churches, Rev.Dr Ekram Lamey , professor of “Comparative Religion” , Rev. Refaat Fekry chairman of “ The Media and Publishing “ of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Egypt, also Bishop Antonios Aziz responsible of the Catholic . Lots of Orthodox Priests , Pastor Michael Anwar shepherd of Ibrahimia Evangelical Church , Pastor Ehab Samir shepherd of the Presbyterian Evangelical churh in Sharm El-sheikh, pastor Nageh Fawzy of Shobra church, Pastor Beshir Anwar of Giza church. Also Rev.Dr Nadia Henry of Masr El-gedida church and Vice- Minister in the parliament , the famous actor Lotfy Labib, the maestro Nayer Nagy, lots of clerical from different communities. Lots of actors, communicators, journalists, civil society, also guests from all over the world participated into this big celebration from France, Britain, Norway, USA, India, Nigeria, Sweden, Korea, Ethiopia and Togo
The ceremony has started by the Republic National Anthem, then “ The beginning of the Story “ performance , then other shows presented by Marian Eskander, Rim Nessim, Mariam Helmy & Emad Kamal. Mr Youssef Mansour the general manager of IMC talks about the role of the center in changing the society to the Best, and his belief to transfer IMC’s main purpose. Also Mr Youssef has appreciated the Evangelical Presbyterian church for its efforts, supports and visions , and the general Evangelical church supporting this work presented to its shepherd Rev.Michael Anwar
Mr Youssef was really thankful to all who participated in this big event such as famous actors, directors, civilian society, intellectual, those who did their best during these ten years. Lots of public personalities were honored in this celebration like : Mats Levander has received the best award in “Partnership&Cooperation domain” , Lotfy Labib best actor in “ Artistic creativity “, Ms Nermine El Sayed “Appreciation Award” for her social & development services. Also Dr. Khaled Montaser was awarded in ”Enlightenment domain” and the Maestro Nayer Nagy too in “Arts field”
The 10th Anniversary’of Ibrahimia Media Center Ibrahimia Media Center has celebrated its 10th anniversary that is the first Christian Media center in the Middle East and North Africa, with the participants of lots of famous actors, public & religious personalities at the Big Cathedral in Abaseyea – Cairo ( St Roweis Theatre ).
